Performance and Parts with Holly Stoppit

  • Moor Imagination Center Chapel St Buckfastleigh (map)

Dates are not yet totally confirmed and may change slightly - as of March 2025.

So you’re a good, experienced vocal improviser. You’re interested in performance. Folks are starting to get their phones out and video you when you sing in some kind of a public way.

What happens for you? Is it inhibiting? Do you start over performing, or clam up?

Drama therapist, Clown, Fool, IFS therapist extraordinaire Holly Stoppit will lead us into deep tomfoolery and wickedness as we unpack the parts that come up in the realm of the witness, and let them play.

We’ll see if we can welcome them home.

Can we grow into unselfconscious flow, ease, - Can We Allow The God Train To Sing Through Us - without “ego”, shyness, insecurities and so on getting in the way? Can we let the vocal river flow to its fullest, and get out of our ways?

Only, perhaps, if we welcome all those parts home.

We will sing. We will move, and clown, and do what Holly tells us to do.

Briony will be part participant, part back up teacher, part suggester of CVI forms to work with (that’s not Holly’s realm). Otherwise, Holly runs the show.

There may or may not be a public show as part of the week…….. tbc.
